Our Church
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Southern Ohio Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our first service was held in the summer of 1855 by Rev. Constantine Koerberlin. In 2005, we celebrated our 150th Anniversary, and we are currently served by Rev. Rachel Patterson. We have a strong, loving congregation that worships together every Sunday in our historical church building located in the heart of Covington, Ohio. We are proud to support a growing youth group, choir, social ministries, and various Sunday and evening classes periodically throughout the year. Please do not hesitate to stop by for a visit. You are sure to be warmly welcomed anytime.
